To create, isolate, functionalise new molecular platforms with anti-infective and anti-proliferative aims, as well as new tracers for the medical molecular imaging


 

The development of new families of antiinfective agents, notably antibacterial in order to answer to emerging multi-resistant bacteria, the development of antiproliferative compounds to answer to the demand of translational research in cancerology, and the development of specific molecular diagnostic tools for medical imagery establishes the base of the research program of MoBAT team. The latter is born from the fusion of the research teams SUCRES and GEVSM within SRSMC Laboratory, allowing the associations of their respective skills and knowledges in (bio)organic chemistry, analytical chemistry and physico-chemistry around the conception, the synthesis or the extraction of original bioactive molecular platforms, macrocyclic, osidic, peptidic and heterocyclic. These platforms are tuned firstly in order to create or incorporate pharmacophores that give them desired biological properties, mainly anti-infective and anti-proliferative, secondly in order to elaborate original fluorinated or metal chelating tracers for medical imagery and diagnosis. These activities are developed within two axes : Antiinfectious and antiproliferative molecular platforms and New tracers for PET imagery.
